Norfolk by Design are thrilled to present Toby Winteringham’s work here at Houghton Hall for the summer. We have a wonderful range of trays and magazine holders for sale as well as some more bespoke pieces, in particular a console table made of ancient Bog Oak from the Fenland area of North Norfolk.

Toby Winteringham is an established contemporary designer maker, producing furniture for domestic and office use and public spaces. Clients include: Corporation of London; The Barbican; several Borough and District Councils; designers and private individuals.

He has served as a judge at the National Craft Comptetion for the Royal Dublin Society and also on the ‘Guild Mark for Bespoke Furniture’ Committee for the WCFM. He is a visiting tutor at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Rockport, Maine, USA. He has also demonstrated at Art in Action, near Oxford, and teaches at West Dean College in Sussex. Toby is Chairman of the Norfolk Furniture Makers Association.
